It's proven that most managers and business CEOs are good in their own field, but writing it’s not one of their good abilities. Smart managers will hire copywriters who know how to structure their articles, but some will insist on doing it themselves.
If you’re one of those among the later, then check out these common mistakes and learn not to do them.
1. Keyword not in the title
It’s unbelievable, but still, there are people who don’t put their keyword in the title. The title of your page or article is most important for search engines to find your content on the Internet. If your theme is not clear from the beginning, then there’s no use of it. People won’t know what you’re writing about, and won’t even find your page.
We know it’s not always possible to begin your title with the desired keyword, but include it there or you’ll miss out.
2. Missing meta description
Another very important thing is to have proper meta descriptions. Don’t let it be just the beginning of your article. Use this advantage to say more about your content. Google appreciates it, your readers will do too. Be sure to keep it short and informative. 140 characters are enough for everyone to showcase the best of the page/article’s content.
3. Alt tag of images can’t be found
Google bot can’t see your images, but if you write what can be seen there, then it’s a win. There are tons of users who prefer to search for images than just text. Who knows when this will be helpful. In our practice, we know it’s working 100% of the time.
Be sure to maintain well these three factors of your on-page SEO and you’ll see that your traffic will increase. Of course, it’s always more easier and productive if you just delegate this to the correct person, who knows what to do! Hit us a message and we will be glad to help!
